Kimberly Harrison:

Kim Harrison or as she is so affectionally known as, “Mamma Kimmy”, has been entertaining comedy audiences on land and on the high seas for over 25 years. Never afraid of being herself, Harrison delivers big laughs with the grace of a seasoned performer.

With a touch of self-deprecating humor, Harrison draws on her own life experiences as a woman, wife and mother that audiences of all ages, ethnicities, cultures, and orientations can relate. Moments after she enters the stage, there is a comfort level that reaches both male and female and those in between. Plus, just when she’s got you doubled over from laughter, she belts out a song with pipes that were built for Broadway but blow you away on a comedy stage.

In fact, her showbusiness career started as a stage performer. In her five years at Stetson University in Deland, Florida, she earned a four-year Bachelor’s degree and performed in almost every show. Often her comedic talent would shine through in the roles she would take on. Regularly, she was cast as the unique character, and even more frequently as the quirky old lady. She thought, once she graduates this might be her ticket. She found out, however, in the real world there were plenty of actual old ladies who played the part of quirky old lady really well.

"I actually wanted to be Angela Lansbury back then, (for anyone under 30, Google it). But most don’t know, she was an all-around performer. I just needed to wait to be an old lady!", Harrison recently quipped in an interview. “I just wanted to be working and entertaining people by making them laugh.
